特点

艾马拉语的语法是建立在三值逻辑，而非一般语言所使用的双值逻辑之上的，翁贝托·埃可在他的著作《The Search for the Perfect Language》认为这种语言具有极大的弹性可容纳许多的新辞汇；Ludovico Bertonio在他1603年的著作《Arte de la lengua aymara》中认为这种语言在表达抽象概念方面非常有用；在1860年，Emeterio Villamil de Rada认为这种语言是“亚当的语言”(la lengua de Adán)；而Guzmán de Rojas则认为这种语言可用作机器翻译的中介语言
