个人简史

早期事业

提斯从学校派对中开始了他的职业打碟生涯，及后在1985年及1993年于荷兰的几个俱乐部中成为驻场DJ. 在这些年间，他用了Da Joker及DJ Limited这2个别名制作了很多的Hardcore/Gabber音乐. 当时，他在周末晚上10时至早上4时的时候，在一间位于Breda名叫"The Spock"的小俱乐部中的一间分隔开的房中，开始寻找着他的音乐风格. 在1990年的中期，他开始制作著Trance, 及在1997年时与Arny Bink合作开了Black Hole Recordings以推出他的作品. Black Hole Recordings及它的属下唱片公司Magik Muzik同时签了Cor Fijneman, Ton TB, 及Mark Norman这几位Tiësto"s眼中的Trance制作精英及DJs.

第一位单独演出的DJ

在举办了第一次 ID&T Innercity 派对后，Tiesto开始名声鹊起。这个时候是90年代后期。而后，在2000年早些时候，他的六个小时"Tiësto Solo"个人专场更是让他红极一时。

2004年夏季奥运会

他的畅销单曲包括"Flight 643," "Lethal Industry," "Suburban Train," "Traffic," 和他重新编曲诠释的古典作品-巴伯Samuel Barber的弦乐慢板"Adagio for Strings." Flight 643 曾被[ID&T]票选为电音史上第二最具影响力的舞曲作品,Lethal Industry 则有出神(Trance)乐中最令人难忘的高潮乐段, Traffic 则是他最出名，最具有能量爆发力的一首单曲，并成为荷兰23年来唯一获得排行第一的器乐曲。
